As some of you know, I enjoy a raw vegan diet and have preformed at events for the raw vegan community. I just learned that I'm a nominee for the Best of Raw 2009. It's a long list, but I'm honored to be a part of it. If you'd like to cast a vote, please visit www.BestOfRaw.net.

Featuring a live show by Jimmy Free accompanied by the power rhythms of Hope Medford on the cahon, shakers, djembe, and Dunn Dunn drums.

This is a family friendly, all ages event.

About Jimmy Free: Seamlessly weaving many forms of traditional and contemporary music, Jimmy presents spontaneous compositions with live looping of the six-string violin. New CD: Remember
I have been busy working with Kevin Hahn at Opal Studio here in Portland and have a set of compositions that I hope will be a blessing of peace to your soul and remind you of some things long forgotten. I hope you enjoy listening to the preview of the album we've attached to this message.
Hope Medford has joined me for this project with rhythmic support from her cajon, shakers and an African Dunn Dunn drum. Aside from Hope's rhythms and the occasional Tibetan bell, it's all the 6-string violin shown in the picture below.
